And he says ‘most people are there for distribution’. Well, that’s only because they’re convicting people with a gram of distribution.
They admit that prohibition is a failure when the lock up that many people for distribution and it is still available in every town across the nation,,,and the prisons they locked up the people in.
Califano is a career government type (was an aide to President Johnson too). Do these people ever die?

This guy says it like kids cant get cannabis now. I mean really , we’ve been over this time and time again. Kids can get as much cannabis as they want now. How the hell is it going to make it ANY EASIER for them to get it?

Thats what its about. We can not keep subjecting our future off spring…and theirs….and so on to prohibition. Can anyone guarantee none or their kids, grand kids, greatgrandkids ,wont get busted with drugs? Do you really want them in prison? Its only going to get worse. Satistics are only going up . 40,000 Arrests each year in the early 70’s. Now we have 850,000+ this year alone.

Johnson could have owned that debate when Califano mentioned the reductions in cigarette smoking by pointing out that the reductions in cigarette smoking didn’t come from making cigarettes illegal and arresting cigarette smokers by the hundreds of thousands every year.
Gary Johnson is coming to a school (very) near me later this October. Lucky huh?
I’ve decided I’m tickled pink about the people in the medical cannabis community that have come out against Prop 19. I decided that when I read an opinion in an Arizona newspaper’s that said their Prop 203 is a ‘stalking horse’ to completely re-legalize cannabis. Yeah, it’s true that I’ve heard that hundreds and hundreds of time. But now when I see a know nothing make that statement I’ve got a fairly impressive counter argument to use.
