Drug WarRant Joins SOPA, PIPA Protest

Drug WarRant’s front page is semi-dark today, joining many other sites (including Wikipedia, Boing Boing, Reddit, Google, Mozilla) that are either dark or protesting in some way the bills being considered by Congress that would fundamentally change the infrastructure of the web.

Both Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Protect Intellectual Property Act (PIPA) are dangerous and poorly designed bills that could essentially break the internet. Drug policy reform depends on a robust internet that allows us to reach the people directly. If you wanted to read Drug WarRant today, contact your Senators and urge them not to pass SOPA or PIPA.
