Letter of the Week

Congrats to our Allan Erickson for getting Letter of the Week honors over at DrugSense/MAPinc.

Further, Kevin Sabet, as part of the ONDCP, is mandated by law to lie.[…]

If science and truth were the standard, cannabis never would have
been made illegal in the first place.

Good on ya Allan. Eugene is one of my favorite places. Saw the Dead there more times than I can count. Went down there every time they came up. Hey Allan, was it just the drugs or do all the walls in Eugene REALLY breathe?

  6. allan420 says:

gosh, thanks folks. You know I’m a believer in writing those letters-to-the-editor. Over the dozen years I’ve been writing letters as part of MAP’s LTE crew I’ve averaged 1 published letter per month.

@ darkcycle… walls don’t breathe elsewhere? And here I thought it was normal. I went to the Dead’s last show at Autzen in 1990, on my first date w/ my kids’ mom. I was living deep in the woods back then and such a crowd (such a stoned crowd) was a tad much and I couldn’t wait to get back behind our locked gate and 3 mile long driveway!

    Nice writing there Allan!

30 years ago, there’s a live band playing, and 2 fourteen year old kids are on their first trip ever:

Curios inquirer: “Hey guys, is that acid working yet or not?”
Me: “What exactly is it supposed to do?”
    Curios: “What acid was it?”
    Me: “Green Lantern.”
Curios: “Then everything should turn green.”
Me: While gazing at everything around me that shouldn’t normally be breathing; “Nope, nothing yet!”

    Indeed a great job Allan!

On a different note, I didn’t know about this but I just ran across a History Channel special about cannabis. It’s in its second hour right now on DTV channel 269.

    Nice LTE Allan…
Now if we can just get the DEAth to learn how to read…

ONDCP, is mandated by law to lie.
Lies are not in the physical reality of life.
Taxes pay ONDCP including Kevvie Sabotage’ salary.
Talk about buying a pig in a poke.
Or rather buying nothing at all… Just paying for it.
Wonder if Gil wants to buy a bridge I have.
Only driven over twice by a lil ole lady going to a crap game.

Yea was watching that History channel special at a bud’s house. They have a different tv provider so I didn’t catch the name. It stated the price of marijuana prohibition in the drug war as almost 14 billion dollars. That could fix a good portion of crumbling infrastructure. Whoops that makes too much sense and doesn’t turn a profit for a private prison corporation.

  11. Sukoi says:

It was ‘Marijuana: A Chronic History’ and you are correct about the cost of prohibition unless, of course, one is as delusional as Deputy Dog…

  12. ezrydn says:

    Here’s a thought to ponder.

Every state we turn, we gain right at or over 50% of it’s voting public. Think about that for a while.

Also, with medical acceptance, more MOR citizens figure out the truth for themselves.

As incredible as this is, just imagine what we could have accomplished by now if the government hadn’t spent several decades telling everyone to stay the hell away from this plant and arresting anyone who didn’t listen.
