LA MARQUE — A man La Marque police said was one of the city’s “major drug dealers” was arrested during an early morning raid Saturday, Chief Randall Aragon said. […]

Kevin Germane Britton, 33, was arrested at his home in the 100 block of Porter Street in La Marque about 4 a.m. He was charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance

Wow. This must have been some bust. I wonder how much was involved?

Britton’s booking sheet showed his charge was for less than 1 gram of narcotics.

Oh.

“Galveston County Daily News:”Along with such uncompromising crime control strategies such as these highly planned and skillful operations, La Marque has introduced a community-oriented policing effort both of which have the ultimate goal of taking back our streets from the criminal element”

Meanwhile back here in the real world , 10 others have lined up to take the place of this one dealer. Thousands more will be wasted on the next bust, property siezed , lives ruined , and a proud group of enforcers will no doublt claim victory as the process is repeated , over and over.

In other news , due to the shortage of funds , some high school students wont have the teachers or resoures to gain some higher learning. Also some wont be able to aford health insurance due to the high tax rates in this country as the waste of tax dollars goes on, all for a LIE !

This is just stupid. Continuing to make cannabis profitable to people will never stop the sale of cannabis to the stupid 17 years olds that want it. Fact is these same stupid 17 year olds could careless what the law says , so they get arrested and thier lives ruined .Good job ! Pat your selves on the back!

They don’t even have to advertise for this vacancy to be filled.

The town where this occurred probably slept much better that night, knowing that the law enforcement people they depend on are efficient enough to bust a dealer, with 1 gram of drugs just waiting to make his millions. If this is the same bust they are speaking of at another site,I believe it involved several police agencies and a long investigation. It made that gram of drugs cost the government about $10,000 investigation, snitch’s and work hours to achieve this trophy of a bust that they will brag on in that town for years.

Less than a gram signifies a drug dealer??? So, if you’ve got a lid, what would that make you???
