Put down the Coumadin, Grandma, before we shoot you.

    Might, evidently, does make right.

The arrogance and smug demeanor emanating from this picture speaks volumes. The banner at the top of their page is even more ominous. But I feel safer knowing militarized teams like these are out there to keep my family safe. Protected from the guy eating pizza on his couch, enjoying Monty Python and “relaxing” after a long day at work.

Maybe they can edit their mission statement to include “killing the monster under the bed”.

They look like a bunch of scared little girlie men to me. What’s with all the body armor otherwise?
    P.U.S.S.I.E.S.
How about some help with the words for their acronym?

I came up with a complete one the other day: Hypocrites Of Law Enforcement. H.O.L.E.

This one deserves some social networking attention. Slap that jpeg on your FB pages and Twitter feeds, folks.

I really think I’m going to move to Vermont.

    Vermont Constitution
    Chapter 1, Article 16

That the people have a right to bear arms for the defence of themselves and the State – and as standing armies in time of peace are dangerous to liberty, they ought not to be kept up; and that the military should be kept under strict subordination to and governed by the civil power.

Off topic but important for every voter in the country and for those of us who want the drug war to end:

“It’s not the people who vote that count. It’s the people who count the votes.” (Josef Stalin, via Glenn Greenwald)

      • Windy says:

Which is why the American people need to “watch the vote and the vote counts” to make certain nothing underhanded is happening. But that link clearly shows the blatant attempt to prevent Ron Paul from gaining the nomination.

And Rick Santorum? The guy is so ridiculously and stupidly religious, he not only wants a ban on abortion, he wants a ban on all forms of birth control. He’s a theocrat through and though, the other theocrat (Michele Bachmann) has dropped out of the race due to only receiving 5% of the caucus votes in Iowa. Excepting only Ron Paul, the other GOP candidates are unacceptable due to being either neocon (Gingrich) or RINOS (Romney and Perry). (I left out Huntsman because he is no more popular than Bachmann and will likely drop out soon after NH’s primary).

Changing the subject. Do any of you recall this incident?: http://malibutimes.com/articles/2004/04/01/life_and_arts/art2.prt

was that the raid where LE consulted realtors and appraisers about the value of the property BEFORE the raid?

  7. Cannabis says:

The WWII German army style helmets don’t help much, either.

That’s almost as bad as a certain PD’s Website where the cops were aiming an MP5 and shooting at the viewer. They yanked it, but not before it was cached.

They just don’t ever seem to get it. Some will be intimidated…and a great many others angered enough in these tight fiscal times to ensure that those cop’s budgets get cut.

After all, if they’re that flush, they shouldn’t need much from the taxpayers, who can use the money they spent on aggrandizing themselves for things like UI bennies and food stamps, right?.

Keep it up, guys. You might as well have spent the money on ammo to shoot yourself in the foot with. Eventually the effect will be the same.

  9. Dante says:

Hey, lookie. The neighborhood dog killing squad sent out a holiday card to remind everyone who owns a dog to live in fear of these “public servants”.

I hope they didn’t deliver those personally, too.

Upon closer viewing, I didn’t see one “soul” in the lot!

They look like walking outhouses. NOBODY I ever served with or under ever looked so marshmallow-soft. I’m 52 years old and I can’t run because my legs won’t work right, but I can do 50 pushups in a set w/o breathing hard and I’ll wager anybody right now I could do five to any of those guys one. I hope they never have to come up against anything harder than a beagle.

Looks like more than one of those heroes should have spent some forfeiture money on gym memberships instead of the Wermacht headgear…

  12. JDV says:

Just remember that all those guys with machine guns and armored vehicles and body armor are losing the drug war. A stoner sitting on his couch in his pajamas while munching on Count Chocula and watching cartoons is winning the drug war.

  13. Peter says:

  15. Crying says:

Two words: Thug Addicts, one half of why I wrote that essay.

Serving the devil and protecting the drug lords. Only doing their job, they think, as they cause the moral decay they say they claim to despise.

Clearly they are drugged out on adrenaline, sugar, fat, self-importance, power, and freshly minted military regalia. The next greatest serving they do is to themselves, in the form of caloric intake.

CRT if you read this I can garantee you I’m far more angry than you, but unlike you I don’t believe in violence or seek to protect my life with guns, sheilds, helmets and other futile textiles. The fear you seek to inspire is your own baby and will come back to you, there is NOTHING you can do about it, read about it in the Bible if you think I’m lying. The cruelty you threaten others with will fall in your own lap, courtesy of you, and no one else will have caused it but each of you; everyone gets more for themselves than what they wished for others. Ask your preacher if I’m wrong. Have him contact me.
