Q) Tell me Mr. Prohibitionist, how many prohibitionists does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A) None. Light bulbs cause people to stay up all night carousing, which leads to merrywanna use, which leads to lifelong, incurable addiction and destitution! What kind of message does that send to the children?

Well I’ve just returned from yet another session of contemplating my navel. A large portion of the time I was thinking of the children and trying to come up with a solution. There’s some really good news. I’m certain that I have a plan which will work. I think a really good idea would be to admit that the United States is just too corrupt to raise children AND keep them innocent until they’re 21. I’d propose that we outsource our education system to a foreign country. China would be the obvious choice. Here’s the pluses:
We could save a lot of money because everything is way cheaper in China.
The Chinese government is expert in teaching children how to be productive business assets and offers them hands on training.
But the best part is that the Country is “drug†“free†per the self serving statements of its government authorities.
The only minus I can see is that they’d execute a certain percentage of our children from time to time. While this would undoubtedly make the parents of those particular children sad for a brief period of adjustment. It’s a small price to pay to make certain that we don’t “lose†yet another generation to (some) “drugs”. If it means that we save even just one children from the scourge of (some) drugs isn’t it worth the execution of a couple of dozen? Remember, the executed ones were probably troublemakers, layabouts and whipper snappers so there’s no real loss to our Country.
See how easy it is if you use just a modicum of common sense when you make a plan? Why the heck doesn’t everyone take the time to contemplate their navels?
If I could see it I would.
