John Walters is loved

by Elizabeth Hasselbeck on Fox and Friends.

Wow. This clip has everything – reefer madness, Soros-funded legalization groups, Obama wants to turn the country into pot zombies….

I can’t figure out how to embed Fox videos on the blog (Fox doesn’t appear to like it very much), so here’s the link:

Casual pot smoking may damage your brain

Thanks for the reminder of why I still don’t want to watch Fox…

[Blondie]So, is there, in your estimation, an effort {smirk} to just sort of suck the life out of Americans here by telling them it’s ok to smoke pot?
    [Walters]Yea. blah blah blah…

Suck the life out of Americans? How in the world can we hold anyone accountable to drivel like this? It’s not even coherent.

Meanwhile, in reality-based news, it’s going to be a good weekend!

For every time I see a headline like “Mainstream Media Waking Up to Futility of Drug War”, along comes one of those “Pot Rots Your Brain” stories, and man does that yak-shit have LEGS.
Easter and 4/20 on the same day. Hoping for miracles…

So we have Fox News, the anti-science network, asking John Walters, a non-scientist, to comment on specific topics pertaining to cannabis science. It’s business as usual at Fox. The John Walters interview exemplifies the religious-right-wing’s contempt for true scientific expertise, or any other kind of valid, secular expertise.

John P. Walters is a Roman Catholic. He belongs to a group commonly referred to as professional Catholics, people that include Bill Bennett, Joe Califano, Jr., William Donohue, the male members of the Supreme Court, and many others. Their politics and worldview is strictly Catholic. Professional Catholics, like the Taliban and al Qaeda, often oppose democracy, and seek a world dominated by their peculiar and unworkable theocracy. They’re called dominionists for this reason.

Catholic politics in Europe is more openly problematic compared to the United States. In Europe, the Vatican operates its own political party, the Christian Democratic Party (CDP). In the 1933 Concordant, the Vatican’s political party withdrew its opposition to Hitler’s Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP or Nazi Party), when Hitler promised the Vatican he would enforce Catholic canon law in Germany in return. Hitler, an avid Roman Catholic in his youth, went on to enforce the vice laws vigorously. The Catholic Church’s lack of opposition to Hitler during the 1933 German election is considered by prominent historians to be the major election factor that allowed Hitler to accede to power.

John P. Walters and his ilk have already done a lot of harm to our society. They are poised to do a lot more. What little freedom is left in America hangs in the balance because of the ongoing threat of theocratic interventions by people such as Walters, both here and in the Middle East.

I neglected to note that Fox News’ commentator Elizabeth Hasselbeck is also a Roman Catholic. According to Wiki, she attended “St Mary Academy–Bay View …an all-girls Catholic School, serving girls and young women from pre-school through grade twelve. Bay View is located in Riverside, Rhode Island. It was founded by the Religious Sisters of Mercy in 1874. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence.”

Well back in 1960 we were warned that if JFK were elected that the catholics would seize the United States and we’d all be kissing the papal pinky ring. It appears that they were right!

They were a bit more conflicted on “The Five” – In a Story About “Should/will they cancel ‘4/20’ for Easter?”

Eric Bolling didn’t approve = But because of the economic benefits of tourism, etc. was semi-okay with it ‘for other people but not his family’, the others were similarly disapproving of it at first – spoke of it possibly being sacrilegious…

Even Andrea Tantaros – seemed to be of the ‘I hate it – BUT – I hate the government telling people what to do even more = So, I guess its okay…’ (But, its still bad/sinful).

And, Bob Beckel = the oldest fuddy-duddy liberal Fox could find – who is so old – he’s (pretty much) against any ‘socially liberal issues’…

Even though he regularly admits he probably did worse not matter the subject! (Yah see = that’s how he knows better than you, (he’s been in 12-step programs forever by now) and therefor = Should get to decide the rules for “young-people”. And he does that with a straight face somehow?)
