U.S. government gives one man 115,000 joints

Many of you have read my piece on Irv Rosenfeld. He’s quite an amazing individual.

The Mail has a piece on him now: American stockbroker sets record for cannabis consumption with 115,000th joint (and it’s all legal)

An American stockbroker has one of the world’s most prolific cannabis smokers – thanks to a constant supply of the drug to treat a rare bone disease.

Fort Lauderdale stockbroker Irvin Rosenfeld will tomorrow smoke his 115,000th joint – and it’s all legal.

The 56-year-old has been provided with cannabis by the government since 1982, when he became a patient in the Federal Drug Administration’s Investigational New Drug Programme. […]

He has been receiving 300 joints of the drug every 25 days for the past 27 years, NBC Miami reported. […]

‘If you truly think marijuana’s as bad as you think it is, explain me.’

115,000 joints and not only is his condition taken care of, but he has no other ill-effects. (Note: if he was able to get some good pot, instead of the low-grade stuff from the feds, he probably could have managed with a whole lot fewer.)

[thanks, Mike]

That has always been a dream of mine to have a big silver tray of G-13 joints to pass out as after dinner mints!!

  2. Duncan says:

Bah, people think that’s a lot, thppt. The only thing he has is 3rd party proof that he’s done it. Not only that, have you ever seen the crap that the gov’t provides these people? I’ve had occasion to meet both George McMahon and Elvy Musikka and both are very pleased to let you inspect their GI cannabis. Snap, crackle, pop, gotta love the smell of burning seeds. I’m glad they’re pleased with it.

  3. R.O.E. says:

Yes ,I would imagine if he had some quality cannabis, he would have used less. Maybe that was the governments thought. Give him shit weed, let him smoke his lungs into a cancer riddin death just to show they are right and we are wrong. So any reports on his lungs? Apparently hes fine at this point. If I was him I would have slipped some good stuff in there from time to time.

So at this point, wouldnt Mr. Rosenfeld be proof our government has no clue? 27 years isnt enough time?

  4. DdC says:

The only part of the Ganja plant not recognized as smokable is primarily what the government sends. Seeds, stems and leaves.

  5. Rizla says:

Does he have any roaches? Hehe

  6. Boris the Zig Zag says:

Duncan, ROE, DDC this is why I don’t get excited about legalization. The government will get its grubby mitts on Mary Jane and screw it up somehow just like everything they touch. Probably add some hideous harmful chemicals or only supply some male plants something half-assed and incompetent for sure.

  7. Duncan says:

Rizla, on the occasion that I met George it was at a private get together after a rally. Indeed, he seemed very determined to follow the rule that the gov’t set down on him, which meant he didn’t share, and by that I mean he wouldn’t smoke ours either. But he did leave 8 roaches in the ashtray at the end of the evening. After he left our very first thought, in unison, was ‘GI roachweed!’. We eagerly started tearing the paper open and made a little pile. We looked at it, sniffed it, looked at it again, and then unanimously decided to flush that crap. Sorry, I just won’t smoke seeds, and it smelled strangely ‘chemical’ too. It is my understanding now that they solvent extract the THC from the plant matter, and then reapply it in order to give all their cannabis a uniform THC content. All I can say is you’re welcome to the roaches if you want them.

  8. Bruce says:

Only 12 doobs per day? Heck i could smoke that many in a couple of hours. Am still on track to be the first one-lung smoker to summit Everest without Oxygen. Upon summitting I plan on holding a large metal rod skyward to capture,,, to capture,,,Oh ohhh I seem to have forgot.

  9. DdC says:

Roaches go into the next joint. Ganja DNA from the yesteryears. I discovered a while back that birthdays tend to make you older. Another trip around the sun? I mean the first few times ok but decade after decade same trip-tic? Lets get off road, maybe these tight ass GOPerverts will loosen up.

I haven’t recognized Ganja laws in 40 years. There is no logic, sense or morality to them, only profits and cheap labor. I do this to relieve stress in hospice cases. This Ganjawar is a mini view of the machine. Hopefully to provoke thoughts because nothing will change using the same machine to deconstruct itself. The cogs have to feed their kids and pay the mortgage and stupid principles and truth just don’t fit. Jackals feeding off the misery of the sheople, happily lining up ditto’s to protest whatever they’re told. Even themselves or their own well being.

    Kill the Messenger

Back the gov, its war, no wait the gov is raping us, no we have to support the troops, just not the government or taxes, paying for it. Or caging sick people paying for their own oppression. The DEAth busting a plant thats safer than aspirin. Yippee, a $trillion bailout to Banks charging us $300 billion/yr interest on loans, to… bailout.. banks. $trillion for a lie in Iraq. Straight cost until mission accomplished, then the sky is the limit, combat pay 1 0n 1 to Haliburton Asbestos Co. Escaping billions in cancer trials, same as Palins Exxon $100 billion disaster Valdeze. Costing them 1 billion and they appealed. Penny on the dollar while tax payers pay. Those not sheltering their responsibility in anti drug commercials or Cayman island banks, 5000 using the same building address as head quarters. And the sheep go on.

    Vote Rigging,Suppression,Purging,Manipulation

The 6 o’clock dribble spreads more to worry about, but nothing to do about it. So pop a top of fermentation. As long as there’s an infrastructure. Not homegrown in the kitchen. They, as Obama said, “If you want it, you have to make me do it”. No threat, he literally has no way to over power the vested ignorant. This perversion of Lennons “Imagine” sung by the G-20 WTO. Mexamericanada. Selling jobs that make us sick enough to buy treatments. Creating more jobs. Prevention Homegrown and Cures make no contribution. There is nothing hard about solving the drug problem. Its not supposed to be solved. Perpetuate the war, perpetuate the profits.

All Eyes on the Bailout $Trillion Defense Bill Passes

Mandatory minimums are a Christmas bonus making it easier for the accountant to project long term profits. Pretty hard to win a war when “believers” doubt what they can pick up and see for themselves over words of a “faithful” politician or politi-preacher. Cops freaking out kids, raids, cameras we sure the fuck don’t trust you messages. Why would they ever want to escape the constant herding with drugs? So this is directed logic, in line with describing a duck billed platypus to a Missourian.

872,721 marijuana arrests in 2007 Inhaling or Not

The net is potentially the most free speech we’ve ever had. If it was the 60’s we’d no doubt have word cops assassinating us like they did Lenny Bruce and probably a lot more. 10 years I’ve seen annual censorship bills hurled with the same fear mongering idiots screeches as the Ganjawar spumous. No one is going to change anyone’s mind if it cost them something. The herds follow where they’re led and the slackers get the brown grass. The Ganjawar is a product to provide cheap labor. Today the only ones pushing enforcement of the laws, are law enforcement and those who profit on the laws.

    Blessed is the Police State?
    Exporting DEAmocracy

This is a red flag that has flown 72 years. I knew I was right 40 years ago when Nexxon chimed in with the bogus CSA and just pity the fools waiting for a law to make things right enough to indulge. Haven’t had a cold since 69. The government still doesn’t list the hundreds of chemicals in tobacco products, still sending out of work kids to save Iraq while our bridges are busted. $Trillion dollars looking for bin Laden, The same Boosh Rayguns gave missiles to fight the Russians. Same Sadamn that Rumsfeld gave chemical weapons to fight the Iranians. But the millions protesting on the streets around the world were never seen on the alphabet channels. Who ya gonna call?

“In a republic like ours, people often think that the proper response to an unjust law is to try to use the political process to change the law, but to obey and respect the law until it is changed. But if the law is itself clearly unjust, and the lawmaking process is not designed to quickly obliterate such unjust laws, then the law deserves no respect — break the law.”

I’ve always thought that IF I had been on that program and IF I received that tin every month, the first two days would be used splitting every ciggie, emptying the contents and straining the sit out of it, to rid it of seeds and stems. Then, with friends over, have a rolling party to refil the tin. And, besides, what’s to stop having the tin filled with some good stuff?

  11. ezrydn says:

Need a non-descript administration device? Coffee Grind 1 oz, WELL! Into small sealable glass jar and float with favorite LIQUOR alcohol. Shake vigorously and place in rear of dark drawer. Wait one week, shake hard again and return to drawer. Sieve contents and then put through coffee filter to finally strain. Now, go to WalMart Pharm and get any small finger pump type bottle (sirt pocket size). Empty contents, flush with fresh water, add your indredients. Spray between cheek and gum. Go Slow. It takes aobut 15-20 to take effect so don’t get in a hurry and go overboard. Be ready for strong chlorophil taste.

  12. Duncan says:

ezrydn, with George it was mortal fear of being kicked out of the program that stopped him from even rerolling the joints. The same reason he wouldn’t touch our much superior product.

In practical application I don’t think you can remove all the seed material. They do put it in a blender first.

  13. ezrydn says:

My mixture has no bulk content in it, what so ever and I’ve never experienced a clogged sprayer.

On aother note, Pete brought my attenton to the lik DdC wrote about it being 9 years old. However, DdC affixed a different date to the end of it so, I’m wondering, is there new evidence pertaining to this story? Story was: D.E.A. Confirms Grounds To Remove Marijuana From Sched#1 10/14/01

  14. ezrydn says:

My heart got to beating before Pete clued me into the dates of the article.

  15. DdC says:

Sorry EZ, I just c&p’d the date of posting when I copied the title.

A Press Release from the Law Offices of Michael Kennedy 7-13-00 is closer to the pub date.

After the IOM (Institute of Medicine) was petitioned to test Ganja for McCaffrey to reschedule, they came out with contrary evidence to what the drug thugs hoped. Not that Klintoon would play fair. But my belief is they had to do something and for 9 years they have stalled and kept Americans terrorized for nothing.

As I understand it the IOM was to go to Shalala in HHS (Health and Human Services) to evaluate if it should be rigorously tested further by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) She sat on it until Boosh got in and then Tommy Thompson sat on it and as far as I know its still at the HHS. The leaked FDA employee’s opinion was just that. The press made the claim it was the FDA’s official statement, falsely. But falsely is the only game they know.

This latest AMA statement was probably more towards the finding of their own physician students wanting it researched. But again the games they play. It seems like they want it rescheduled for the Pharm corporations, not Ganja. Barthy and Bayer and the patents already granted should make them a bundle without jeopardizing their gravy train prohibition. SOS going strong since 1937. The WoD is shuck and jive, slight of hand, diversions, delays and degrading opponents like a Fox Newty.

    But across the pond…
