And, of course, it’s signed by a Who’s Who of people who profit from marijuana prohibition. Patrick Kennedy, Kevin Sabet, Peter Bensinger, Robert DuPont, Calvina Fay, Howard Meitiner, Steven J. Pasierb, Betty Sembler, and some others in the treatment industry.
Who cares what the parasites think?
They are just lost souls completely willing to sacrifice, hunt, cage, destroy others, so as they themselves have a job.

Yes. La Barthwell was sent out as a “missionary” to NA to try to get their support in furthering the drug war, not to mention the profits of her employers at Sativex. Not sure that she was very successful although I’m sure some relative newcomers like Patrick Kennedy fell for the bait. It seems that the longer a recovering addict is around the less black and white they are on this issue. I have had arguments with newer members about ending prohibition and they are often strongly opposed, but when I ask them if a prison term and criminal record would have helped their recovery they tend to change their minds. In my opinion Kennedy is not bright enough to see how he is being used by Sabet and co.

Really tough.I am hardly a scientific researcher myself, but I remember calling logical fallacy all over that. If just because you CAN’T adequately control for socioeconomic factors, individual IQ differences, receptiveness to education… In other words, I don’t think a scientific study is even -possible- in this area.
Not that I believed the results for a moment, seeing as we all know a couple guys that smoke quite a lot and yet are -more- functional for it.

I don’t even have to go further than to point out that IQ tests circa 1973 weren’t known for their accuracy. Perhaps if the New Zealand “scientists” had used the same IQ tests throughout the study the results might be a little bit respectable.
Don’t forget that study also found no decline in IQ among subjects who were over age 18 at the time they first chose to enjoy cannabis. Couple that with the easily proven even though widely disbelieved assertion that age limits at point of sale are effective at keeping substances out of the hands of kiddies and that study supports arguments for regulated re-legalization.
That’s one of my favorite cards to play with people. “Oh, if we legalized marijuana, kids would have an easier time getting it!”
…actually, it would probably be the opposite, as age restrictions are tied to reductions in youth access to alcohol and tobacco. It isn’t like we don’t already have data on this — we do. And the data strongly supports our position.

Even when presented with compelling evidence reality is a tough sell because it’s so counter-intuitive. It’s almost never smart to post supporting evidence from a friendly site. I’ve never heard of NORML getting caught red handed lying. IMO Rob Kampia is a slimeball but he’s still a very effective cannabis law reform advocate. Also I’m not aware of MPP or any other cannabis law reform advocacy group getting caught knowingly disseminating a lie. It doesn’t matter, the sycophants of prohibition think that having an agenda means that their info is tainted. I think if NORML were to post on their website that 2+2=4 that the sycophants would say that it’s unreliable “stoner” math.
Even more stunning is the fact that teen use of cannabis is at 30 year highs without any help from even a single State which has adopted a medicinal cannabis patient protection law. It’s just plain amazing that anyone can look at the data and turn around and play the cheeeeel-dren card. But you know what? Ever so slowly, bit by bit, inch by inch people are figuring it out.

Instead of feeling sorry for the tens of thousands of jobs that will be lost, I’d prefer to consider the MILLIONS who will benefit from legal cannabis.

Whether these folks (idiots?) know it or not, they’re part of an effort to keep a CURE FOR CANCER from being accessed by the people right NOW.
In the future we’ll have our cannabinoid-based medicines for curing cancer, but that’s decades down the road. However, today people are using a full extract cannabis oil, a.k.a. Rick Simpson Oil to cure their own cancer.
This is no joke, there’s no quackery or snake oil for sale here, just simple plain facts:
Cannabinoids kill cancer by keeping mutating cells from reproducing (ANTI-PROLIFERATIVE).
Cannabinoids kill cancer by preventing the formation of new blood vessels to the tumor (ANTI-ANGIOGENIC).
Cannabinoids kill cancer by inducing the mutating cancer cells to DIE as a normal cell would (APOPTOSIS)
Cannabinoids stop the spreading, or metastasis that causes 90% of cancer-related deaths (ANTI-METASTATIC).
Use any of those capitalized words as a search and begin your own journey on discovering that you don’t have to die (as early) or suffer needlessly from cancer.
As an indication of how fucked up prohibition is, medical professionals who SHOULD KNOW BETTER continue to place themselves and family members into what can only be considered MEDICAL-INDUCED TORTURE if and when they use current medical treatments for cancer.
Modern medicine has ONE TRICK for fighting cancer only. Chemotherapy and radiation is ANTI-PROLIFERATIVE, but at extreme cost to patients in terms of suffering.
So, the people who profit from prohibition are PARTIALLY responsible for this medical insanity and suffering.
It’s NOT just the tens of thousands of rehab fucks that could lose their livelihoods. If we used cannabis extract oil to replace chemotherapy and radiation we’re talking about eliminating many of the jobs and profits of the $200 billion cancer INDUSTRY ALONE.

I’m not worried about anybody here having their head explode from the idea that world-wide, governments are withholding the cure for cancer. Readers here know how messed up prohibition is.
But one things for sure: You (the government) can’t go from saying NO MEDICAL USE to CANNABIS CURES CANCER without the normal straight folks going nuts.

Some of you may be aware of Chong of “Cheech and Chong” recently used the Rick Simpson oil for his prostate cancer. He had great success in the beginning and he thought he had beat it, but it came back.
It’s possible that getting back on the oil may cure Tommy’s prostate cancer, but it’s important here to note that while it’s true that cannabinoids kill cancer cells it may not be a 100% cure for everyone.
Some people may need to combine the oil with the traditional therapies and there may be people who will not benefit at all. But, since the LD50 of cannabis doesn’t exist at the very least folks should have this option FIRST.
It’s easy to get swept up in the euphoria of the idea cannabinoids cure cancer because it’s TRUE. But, I think it may be misleading to expect or assume EVERY cancer can be beat.
What I do know is that the dose for folks without chemotherapy or radiation is 55-to-60 grams of the oil and it can be three times that for folks who have had chemotherapy and radiation.
Cost wise, a 55-to-60 gram dose is around $1,000. For the extended treatment it’s closer to 3,000. That’s incredibly cheap compared to tradition therapies that don’t even work.
We gravely worry about the consequences to the nation of allowing states to
openly defy federal law.
Awww, they are afraid that we the people may actually have more power than the federal government….cause we do. Just people are just starting to figure that out. That’s how America works gentlemen. If we don’t like the laws in place…we the people can and WILL change them.
If we can end this damned drug war , we can put an end to most anything our government does that we disagree with.

I just looked at the signatures. Kevin Sabet signed with that child abuser Betty Sembler – of Straight Inc. infamy. That’s all anyone should ever need to know about Sabet or SAM.
Knowledge of the consequences plus willingness to continue said design that creates consequences equals intent. It would not be illegal to execute or imprison anyone who doesn’t give up on Marijuana prohibition. Marijuana prohibition obviously funded the Boston Bombings, which is treason. The same goes for the rest of the CSA, which is known to create drug money and drug money is known to fund crime and terrorism and the CSA obviously influences the rest of the World’s drug prohibitions (added to the fact the DEA jump on –what is it? A hundred plus countries). The NYC WTC Bombing of 93’, Beirut Barracks Bombings, U.S.S. Cole and U.S. Embassy Bombings in Kenya and Tanzania simply means that the DEA and other Drug Warriors obviously plotted and planned and co-conspired 9/11, the War on Terror, European/Philippine/Indian/Russian/2008 Olympics attacks and Benghazi etc via the CSA laws and the fact they knew about the consequences based from past attacks involving drug money.
If Pete pushed people off a cliff and he knew it killed them based on previous deaths, then Pete would have intended on killing people via pushing them off the cliff.
One day, we’ll get back our court systems to stop defending illegal laws and we’ll use them to stop the drug warriors. This nation won’t fall to lawlessness in the long run.
