The face of our opposition

Rather amusing train-wreck of a rant. He suggests parents rip apart their kids’ bedrooms and kick them in the balls if they find marijuana. He’s also quite convinced that all drug policy reformers are stupid. His logic is unassailable unavailable.

Wait, so he wants to protect our kids by putting them in prison (or turning their own homes into prisons, which is arguably worse) and by kicking them in the balls? And he thinks “these people that are targeting your kids [who?]” are the worst human beings alive?.. I pity his kids, if he’s got any. Unless of course they are lowlife stupid moron stoner potheads, in which case they deserve to be shot on sight. Out of tough love, obviously. I agree that kids probably shouldn’t be smoking pot and I’m not a fan of mj either. But it’s amazing how horribly demented some people are. In that sense, the name of his channel is remarkably well-chosen.

  2. Kant says:

Is this going to make me want to throw things? much like the last post of a radio station broadcast?

  3. Pete says:

Actually, Kant, it’s less likely to make you break things than the last one. This guy is so wacked out that he doesn’t really make you mad. I actually watched the whole thing and found it oddly perversely enjoyable.

  4. Kant says:

wow, he was serious about kicking kids in the nuts. I thought it was going to be a metaphor for something.

I really like this quote though

“they repeat it and repeat it. That marijuana is not a gateway drug. It certainly is. It is a gateway drug. And to prove it, it’s because the more they keep on saying ‘it’s not a gateway drug’, and the more, these potheads keep on saying that it’s beigne. There’s nothing wrong with it. That’s only going to entice young kids to start smoking it.”

so marijuana is a gateway drug to…..marijuana? Or i suppose more accurately, talking about it is a gateway drug to marijuana?

    It was overall amusing though.

  5. Ruediger Birkenfeldt says:

Great insight into a prohibitionist mind. He doesn’t even bother bringing up most of the typical anti-marijuana arguments (except the gateway drug thing) and arguments only from his personal dislike of cannabis users (aka stupid lowlife stoner assholes).
It’s almost scary how he seems to work himself into a rage sounds more and more aggressive. He seems to even enjoy imagining a potsmoker being kneed in the groin by his parents.

  6. DdC says:

This is your dope on drugs.
    Any Questions?

  7. kaptinemo says:

What was it Tim Leary said? Something about cannabis causing psychotic reactions in people who don’t use it? One might be tempted to think that in this poor guy’s case, that might well be the truth…

  8. JS Mill says:

“He doesn’t even bother bringing up most of the typical anti-marijuana arguments (except the gateway drug thing) and arguments only from his personal dislike of cannabis users (aka stupid lowlife stoner assholes).”

Therein lies the crux of the matter. Umpteen million medical studies and academic papers won’t mean a thing unless the issue is framed properly.

  9. Chris says:

Oh no, not clicking. I know who this is already.

  10. Steve says:

Wow, you must really have to love your stupid, asshole children to kick them in the balls to protect them from the worst human beings ever. So many words, but so little was actually said. Thanks for the good laugh!

  11. ezrydn says:

He did the research. He actually walked into a head shop and looked around. What a joke.

I wonder how many times he’s walked out of a bar and started HIS car?

I also wonder what he spent time in prison for? He sure talks like an ex-con. Must have took the DARE program!

  12. Couldn’t bear to watch more than 1m 30s … but shouldn’t the title have been a menacingly “this is your brain NOT on drugs”. Y’know, to act as a warning. We wouldn’t want our kids to grow up and make vapid rants bereft of logic and with a foundation of only ignorance.

    Thanks Argson.

Good lord ! This guys has some serious anger issues! To treat a kid as he suggests is terrible. If my parent would have done these things to me , I would have run away never to be seen again. And as far as his paranoid delusion of heads shops and alike teaching kids how to hide weed LOL. I was a cig smoker as a teen…I didnt need anyone to teach me ways of hiding my cigs…I was very creative. If this douche would hit youtube he would see kids teaching each other how to get around thier parents.

Seriuosly Was this guys rot assed bad apple of a cop on a power trip at on time. You know the kind that real cops cant stand? I mean hes suggesting teaching kids how to be submisive and live like a criminal with his “Tear up thier room, kick them in the balls ” prison rant.

Someone tranq this guy and force him to watch bambie over and over . please!

  14. Just me says:

By the way…I got to 6 min mark…couldnt stand it anymore.

  15. Kozmo says:

So that is what truth does to the prohib mind. Bwhahahaha !! We will get to see his head literally explode when prohibition ends.

  16. Shap says:

How can a guy who stutters this much qualify to do a radio program? S-s-s-s-so stupid!

  17. Steve says:

Unfortunately anyone with a video camera and a microphone can make a lame attempt at looking professional. I couldn’t watch it for more than a minute. I have a real hard time listening to “these colors don’t run” types of patriotic assholes who won’t let little things like science or facts get in the way of their idealistic ideology. It’s not just drug reform either. Whenever they open their mouth, it’s like word vomit of all the cliched right wing rhetoric we’ve heard so many times before.

  18. permanentilt says:

kicking your son in the balls, yeah that will make him stop using drugs…… yeah, he’ll clean up his act immediately…. yeah

Did make for some great comedy tho, I almost turned it off before that point, then I couldn’t stop laughing!

  19. DEXtronaut says:

Man, this guys whole channel is making me sick. He even goes as far as to insult Joe Rogan and Eddie Bravo from the UFC and challenge them because they were smoking in front of a documentary crew.

Ironically, he couldn’t fight that week anyways because he dropped a box of WINE on his bunion. The legal drugs are hurting in weird ways.

  20. Just me says:

I did a little reseach on this nut job. His name is Phil Thies, former wrestler from what I gather. My former comment about bad apple cops? well this guy makes them look like good guys in my opinion.

  21. Omni Consumer Products says:

The mighty drug warriors remind me of the chickenhawks. Where does this lust for punishment come from in this country?

  22. Synchronium says:

Ahhh the Internet. The enabler of idiots.

I couldn’t get past about a couple of minutes of that. I wonder if he’s genuinely not very intelligent or it’s just a “viral” act. The more people he pisses off, the more views he gets.

  23. Carol M. says:

From the initial description, I knew I couldn’t bear to watch. My fear is that it will inspire some idiot to abuse his children.

  24. Ed Dunkle says:

Former wrestler? That explains it. This has to be an act. If he gets enough hits he can be a Drug War expert on Fox News.

  25. denmark says:

Lurker here, find the comments here wonderful.
Couldn’t resist commenting this time though. This guy is absolutely whacked out, uneducated, and if he is indeed a retired wrestler then I’d say he got hit in the head one too many times. My first impression watching this video was that he was clearly on some type of drug or drunk.

  26. DEXtronaut says:

    @denmark

most likely drunk, he’s talked about buying champaign and other drinks in some of his other videos, as well as seeing him smoke tons of cigarettes.

  27. Voletear says:

I too got the impression this guy was lit up. Whether it was crank, hormones, neurochemicals, or extreme maladjustment and misanthropy – this guy is a dangerous bucaroo.

Isn’t urging parents to injure their children’s sexual organs over the internet (and potentially, the airwaves)a violation of a parcel of child sex abuse laws? Seems to me that they come down hard on that sort of thing these days. Of course, it’s easy to picture certain particular police types not wanting to perform his duty in this case – due to a sympathetic view of the “Wrestler’s” opinions on drug law reform and reformers so we may have to monitor them for diligent performance. 🙂

  28. DdC says:

    Phil Thies, aka; Damien Demento
In WWF, he wrestled under the heel gimmick of “Damien Demento”, who hailed from “The Outer Reaches of Your Mind” and showed such disturbed behavior as hearing and speaking to voices.

What made you want to pursue wrestling?
Oh let’s see… girls, money, fame. Did I mention money, and girls, and fame? Actually none of that. I wanted more than anything to be a Pro Football player. That was my dream. You see, there’s no “real” competition in Pro wrestling. The “Boss” thinks to himself “I’m gonna make this guy the champ.” It’s a show, period. I was a very small part of it.

Do you feel there is/was a problem with steroids in wrestling?
Steroids are not the problem. It’s like blaming a car for DWI, or a gun for a murder. Or George Bush for just about everything. Hmmmm… now I’m wondering if you’ll post that?

Where is the outer reaches of your mind?
Whose idea was it to bill you from there?
As Mondo Kleen I billed myself as “From Mans Deepest Fears.”
I think the “office” played off of that a little.

    Damien Demento!.jpg

I think he tag teamed with Johnney Pee the Waterboy.
Still showing disturbed behavior hearing and speaking to voices.

  29. Servetus says:

We can deduce how Phil Theis’s father or step-father probably treated him given his urge to kick adolescents in the nuts. Too bad. Child abuse can leave some deep scars. Theis really needs get professional therapy and proper medication for his violent urges.

    Wrestling’s Dirty Secret

While many people think of wrestling as a big joke, there is one thing about wrestling that isn’t funny. The death rate among wrestlers is alarmingly high. The first time time this story was covered by the national media was in 2003 on HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumble. That segment featured Vince McMahon mocking the interviewer and slapping the notes from his hands. In addition, the only wrestler to speak up for the wrestlers, Roddy Piper, was fired after the piece aired.

    This is a comedian……Right?
I’d hate to live in a world with guys this stupid.

  32. Fred Evil says:

I have to agree with you Benjamin. The fact that this guy made this video shows how prevalent the brain-washing has been. How strong the us vs. them mentality can be. To where common sense and reason are nowhere in sight, and all you want to do is find an excuse to squash your kids testicles…..wait…no that’s even more f%cked up than usual This guys is SCARY stupid.

I’m wanting an e-mail address so I can regularly remind him I have a good life, good kids, house, cars, job…and no shameful past in the WWE. The fact that a ‘pothead’ is happy, productive, and wealthy, would just kill him, dontcha think?

  33. Chris says:

I find it hilarious that this moron doesn’t have two brain cells to rub together to think of other forms of legalization. Why the hell would the government grow it if it is legalized? He just sits there fuming in the video without every thinking of ANY alternatives, as if they don’t exist.
