Amazon supports marijuana legalization

Amazon Won’t Screen Employees for Marijuana Use, Will Back Federal Legalization

Amazon CEO Dave Clark said Tuesday that the company will no longer screen most of its employees for marijuana use, and it will back federal legalization legislation.

“We will no longer include marijuana in our comprehensive drug screening program for any positions not regulated by the Department of Transportation,” Clark said in a blog post on Amazon’s website. The change in policy comes as a response to “where state laws are moving across the U.S.,” Clark said.

Amazon also pledged to throw its considerable weight behind marijuana legalization on a countrywide scale, saying the company would be “actively supporting The Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act of 2021 (MORE Act)—federal legislation that would legalize marijuana at the federal level, expunge criminal records, and invest in impacted communities.”

Once Amazon does this, I hope they don’t try to corner the marijuana market. It would be bad PR.

The FDA just approved a drug to treat Alzheimer’s patients called Aduhelm. It’s a monoclonal antibody that removes amyloid beta plaques from the neural synapse.

Currently there is an Amyloid hypothesis that claims the amyloid plaques are the cause of Alzheimer’s. This has yet to be proven and there is also the role of tau protein tangles which clog up the intracellular space of a neuron leading to an inflammatory response from the immune system which kills the cell.

There are dozens of studies using Sativex that show cannabinoids THC and CBD ALSO remove amyloid plaques AND tau proteins.

In light of these cannabis-based studies the FDA’s approval of a drug that causes brain bleeding in 40% of patients and costs $56,000 per year is criminal.

The progression of Alzheimer’s is decades before symptoms become apparent.

So, I’m proposing a “Hippie Hypothesis.” Regular cannabis users in their 60s and 70s shouldn’t have aggregations of Amyloid plaqus OR tau protein tangles. The Hippie Hypothesis states that those who use in mid-life and on, will NOT develop Alzheimer’s.

Someone needs to fund a study on this.

Cannabis is so harmful, it was the reason he was killed, but no cannabis was stolen from the victim, so Marijuana had nothing to do with his death since it was just an ambush. What about the 19yr old white girl who probably helped to set up the ambush.

What else was this kid into. At 17yrs old, he owned a brand new luxury sports truck. Did he sell other drugs? Did he sell guns? Did he bring that white girl over to sell for sex as a pimp? Was his death simply a gang initiation? Was he just some rich privileged kid trying to play drug dealer in the wrong neighborhood?
