Big Gay Marijuana

Talk Radio Host Bryan Fischer has been getting a lot of Twitter ridicule for this tweet regarding the situation in Indiana:

This worry about Big Gay… sound familiar? It’s just like Kevin Sabet and his constant concern trolling about Big Marijuana.

It seems like there’s an entrepreneurial opportunity here — maybe Big Gay and Big Marijuana should join forces and open a string of Big Gay Marijuana businesses (excluding bigots and Kevin Sabet).

“The door of a bigoted mind opens outwards so that the only result of the pressure of facts upon it is to close it more snugly.” ― Ogden Nash

If any group of people in America today proves the above observation true, it’s the prohibs.

If anything illustrates that specifically, (and also illustrates the prohib tendency towards reductio ad absurdum), it’s this ‘Big Marijuana’ silliness.

Kevin refuses to admit it is already here in the form of the cartels – who, apparently, being shrewder businessmen than Kevvie’s friends, are phasing out growing cannabis in favor of opium poppy production.

(Muttering) They squeeze, squeeze, squeeze that damn’ balloon, and not only does it bulge outwards opposite of where you squeeze it, but now it’s got a tumor on it. Unintended consequences, and all that.

But unlike ‘developmentally challenged’ children, who cannot put their actions and the consequences of them in relation to each other (and thus have an excuse) the prohibs refuse to (and thus have no excuse).

And so long as the vast majority of them are being paid by us, they’ll continue to do so.

And so, once again, I suggest that, to encapsulate our position succinctly, all we need do with our Reps and Sin-a-tors is tell them one thing:

END THE DRUGWAR THAT WE DIDN’T ASK FOR!

That single sentence constitutes a reformer’s MIRV, chock-full of rhetorical nukes, all guaranteed to destroy a prohib’s justifications…and embolden those Congresscritters who privately believe as we do, but were afraid to say anything lest the Prohib Noise Machine be pointed at them.

Given that we are now demonstrably in the majority – as we illustrated with the removal of prohibs from office – those pols who know the score can now speak out.

And, if any of them want to keep their jobs in the future, they better start speaking now. The stick that the prohibs have been using to stab us with these past 40 years changed hands demographically when support for re-legalized cannabis went past 50%; it’s in our hands now. What we do with it is up to us, not them.

(Takes out Da’s old Marine Corps KABAR knife, sharpening that stick, looking up and over it at prohibs as the shavings fly off and the point gets sharper and sharper.)

I don’t know about you, but after all I’ve been put through, courtesy of the prohibs, I know exactly what to do with this stick.

Big Gay, Big Marijuana, great big boogeymen for the duped and frightened prohibitches. Keep us safe from the big queer smokie tokie monster, oh militarized masters! The children! The children! Lock them up to keep them safe!

i dont know why people keep bringing up gay marriage legalization like it’s only option we have. there are options in between that can address homosexuality addiction without creating a new Big Gay. SmartOnGay will be releasing our 3rd way soon…

It’s hard to believe Big Gay Al is pressuring anybody. He’s just the nicest, and most super person ever.

I’ve always maintained that the only reason gay rights progressed so far is that no one figured out how to test for homosexuality. If someone had come up with workplace gay testing circa 1982 it would be a very different environment right now. In fact, I suspect that some of the grief given to drug users during the Reagan years came about because gay bashing was beginning to fall out of favor and, in the absence of testing to show how THEY’RE EVERYWHERE HIDE THE CHILDREN, the puritan excrement had to be shat out onto someone else.

…do people not realize that “freedom of speech” does not imply “freedom from responsibility for the shit you spew”?

This is why I’m working on series of essays I’d like to call “How to Have an Opinion that isn’t Completely Fucking Worthless”

    • darkcycle says:

Essays? Sounds like that would make a three Volume set to me…

      • N.T. Greene says:

You start with essays — and then assemble them into a three-volume set.

…I never said it’d be a short series

I think all those Religious Freedom laws are stupid and paranoid. That said, I’m long past tired of being told I’m going to hell if I don’t accept Jesus Christ as my lord and savior. When they shut up, so will I.

Why can’t religious fanatics understand that freedom of religion also means freedom from religion?
