I wonder what would happen if the feds spent a small portion of their war on drugs budget on treatment instead of incarceration? Say 10% to treatment facilities and R&D.

If the drug dealers had less people to sell it to what do you think would happen?

@Jon Doe: one of my good friends once went to a conference hosted by (I forget the name) one of those drug free world organizations. She saw a lot of this Soros bashing. As she put it they didn’t have anything substantial in their presentations, but this one guy just suddenly blurts out that this George Soros guy is … and ya better go sit down … an ATHEIST, hence without moral guidance of any kind! And that’s why every legalizer is pretty much evil.

I think that’s it, and the fact that he’s money.

Practically every story on that blog makes at least one gross mistake. The writer ASSUMES. He doesn’t include facts to back up his assumptions, which is the true sign of a narrow-field prohib.
